Jocelyn’s primary professional experience involved working at mine sites for major mining corporations to maintain and improve operations and safety. Her professional approach is to work closely with various stakeholders to investigate problems, translate for common understanding, and implement practical solutions. The majority of her career has been focused on project management from concept through to safe execution, including design, procurement, and contractor management.

While in a leadership role, Jocelyn supervised and mentored a diverse group of electrical, mechanical, and civil engineers, administrators, designers, and trades people.

After returning to the University of Saskatchewan in 2017, Jocelyn expanded her social impact potential by leading and inspiring positive change through teaching, facilitation, and research. Jocelyn taught teaching both design and communications courses in the College of Engineering as Lecturer.

In 2020 Jocelyn founded Prairie Catalyst Consulting as a way to help other lead changes in their organizations.
