A bit about me:

A practising engineer with nearly 20 years of experience serving the mining industry, Jocelyn has worked for major companies in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. She holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Interdisciplinary Studies, both from from the University of Saskatchewan. Jocelyn’s interdisciplinary research relies heavily on Rhetorical Communication as a solution to the barriers of hiring and retaining women in the Canadian mining industry.

Jocelyn is now continuing her research as a Vanier Scholar and PhD Candidate at the University of Saskatchewan. Her PhD project is focused on advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the Saskatchewan mining industry and engineering profession.
